Antz

Colony cartoon film

Antz is a 1998 animated film about an individualistic ant who questions his colony's conformist society.

The title uses a stylized spelling common in entertainment properties of that era.

The film competed directly with Pixar's *A Bug's Life*, released the same year—both featuring computer-animated insects with celebrity voice casts.
