The Martian
*The Martian* is a 2011 science fiction novel by Andy Weir, later adapted into a 2015 film directed by Ridley Scott.
The story follows an astronaut stranded on Mars who must survive using scientific ingenuity until rescue.
The title also refers to the protagonist himself: Have you read The Martian?
Matt Damon plays the Martian in the film.
