Thai chilies
Small hot peppers
Thai chilies are small, slender hot peppers commonly used in Southeast Asian cooking.
Despite their size—typically one to two inches long—they pack significant heat, ranking high on the Scoville scale.
They appear in curries, stir-fries, and sauces, often used whole or finely chopped: The recipe calls for three Thai chilies, but I only used one.
Also called bird's eye chilies or Thai bird peppers.
