Psyche
Mortal turned goddess
Psyche is a figure from Greek mythology, a mortal woman whose beauty rivaled that of Aphrodite.
Her story with Eros (Cupid) became an allegory of the soul's journey toward divine love.
The name also belongs to an asteroid in the main belt between Mars and Jupiter. (Lowercase psyche is the mind or soul.)
