Pearl River
Guangzhou's main estuary
Pearl River names several waterways, most notably the river system in southern China that flows through Guangzhou to the South China Sea, forming a major delta region.
In the United States, a Pearl River flows through Mississippi and Louisiana.
The name also designates various towns and counties near these rivers: Pearl River County, the Pearl River Delta economic zone.
