Laurentians

Canadian ski region

The Laurentians are a mountain range in southern Quebec, Canada, extending north from the St.

Lawrence River valley.

Known for skiing, lakes, and resort towns, they draw visitors from Montreal and beyond: We're heading to the Laurentians for the weekend.

The range is part of the Canadian Shield, among the oldest geological formations on Earth.
