LED strip
Adhesive light ribbon
A flexible circuit board populated with light-emitting diodes, typically sold in rolls that can be cut to length.
LED strips attach to surfaces with adhesive backing and provide accent lighting under cabinets, behind monitors, or along architectural features: I installed an LED strip behind my desk for ambient lighting.
Many strips offer color-changing options controlled by remote or smartphone app.
