scrolling text
Text that slides
Scrolling text is text that moves continuously across or up a display screen.
News tickers scroll headlines horizontally along the bottom of television broadcasts.
Movie credits scroll vertically.
Websites may scroll text for announcements or marquee effects.
The technique displays more content than would fit in a static space, though it can be harder to read than stationary text.
