Iron Throne's city
Kings Landing is the capital city of the Seven Kingdoms in George R.R.
Martin's *A Song of Ice and Fire* novels and the television adaptation *Game of Thrones*.
Located where the Blackwater Rush meets the sea, it serves as the seat of the Iron Throne and the center of Westerosi political intrigue.
The name refers to Aegon the Conqueror's original landing site when he began his conquest.
