Kamloops
Interior plateau city
Kamloops is a city in the interior of British Columbia, Canada, situated at the confluence of the North and South Thompson Rivers.
With a population of around 100,000, it serves as a regional hub for the surrounding ranching and forestry areas.
The name derives from the Secwépemc word meaning "meeting of the waters." We stopped in Kamloops on our way to the Okanagan.
