Second tallest mountain
K2 is the second-highest mountain on Earth, located in the Karakoram range on the China-Pakistan border.
The name comes from its survey designation—the second peak measured in the Karakoram.
K2 is considered more technically difficult and dangerous to climb than Everest: He summited K2 in winter.
Separately, K2 is a brand of synthetic cannabinoid, a dangerous designer drug sold as "synthetic marijuana."
