Inuk
Single northern native
An Inuk is a member of the Indigenous peoples of the Arctic regions of Canada, Greenland, and Alaska.
Inuk is the singular form—one person is an Inuk, two or more are Inuit.
The word means "person" in Inuktitut.
Using Inuk and Inuit has largely replaced the older term Eskimo, which many consider offensive: She is an Inuk from Nunavut.
