Horus

Egyptian falcon god

Horus is the falcon-headed god of ancient Egyptian religion, associated with the sky, kingship, and protection.

The pharaoh was considered Horus's earthly embodiment.

In Egyptian mythology, Horus avenged his father Osiris by battling the god Set, losing an eye in the conflict—the restored Eye of Horus became a powerful symbol of healing and protection.
