Console virtual reality
PlayStation VR is Sony's virtual reality headset system designed for use with PlayStation gaming consoles.
Released in 2016, it allows players to experience immersive 3D gaming environments by wearing a head-mounted display that tracks movement and adjusts visuals accordingly.
A second generation, PlayStation VR2, launched in 2023 with improved resolution and eye-tracking features.
I finally tried PlayStation VR and the immersion completely sold me on VR gaming.
