Giving Tuesday

Annual donation day

Giving Tuesday is a day promoting charitable donations, held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the United States.

Created in 2012 as a counterpoint to the consumer spending of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it encourages people to donate money, time, or goods to causes they support: I always make my annual donation to the food bank on Giving Tuesday.
