Galatian
Asia Minor inhabitant
A Galatian is a person from Galatia, an ancient region in central Asia Minor (modern Turkey).
The word appears most often in biblical contexts—Paul's Epistle to the Galatians addresses early Christian communities there.
As an adjective, Galatian describes things relating to that region or its Celtic-descended inhabitants: Galatian culture, Galatian churches.
