Dijon mustard
Burgundy's sharp spread
Dijon mustard is a smooth, pale yellow mustard originating from Dijon, France, made with brown or black mustard seeds and verjuice or white wine rather than vinegar.
It has a sharper, more refined flavor than American yellow mustard: The vinaigrette calls for a tablespoon of Dijon.
Often shortened to just Dijon.
