DSM-IV
Mental disorder taxonomy
DSM-IV is the fourth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, published by the American Psychiatric Association in 1994.
It was the standard reference for diagnosing mental health conditions in the United States until replaced by DSM-5 in 2013.
The Roman numeral reflects older naming conventions; DSM-5 switched to Arabic numerals.
