Cesium
3D mapping library
Cesium is a soft, silvery-gold metallic element, atomic number 55.
It's extremely reactive—it ignites on contact with air and explodes in water.
Cesium's most notable property is its use in atomic clocks, where the vibration frequency of cesium-133 atoms defines the second in the International System of Units.
Also spelled caesium in British English.
