Barbaresco
Italian red wine
Barbaresco is a red wine from the Piedmont region of northwestern Italy, made from the Nebbiolo grape.
Like its neighbor Barolo, it produces full-bodied wines with firm tannins and complex flavors, though Barbaresco is often described as slightly softer and earlier-maturing: We opened a 2015 Barbaresco with the braised lamb.
