Amarone
Veneto's prestigious red
Amarone is a rich, full-bodied Italian red wine from the Veneto region, made using partially dried grapes—a process called appassimento that concentrates sugars and flavors.
The resulting wine is intensely flavored, high in alcohol, and typically dry despite its raisin-like fruit notes.
We opened a bottle of Amarone for the special occasion.
