Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Southern French wine

Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a renowned wine from the southern Rhône Valley in France, produced near the village of the same name.

The reds are typically bold, full-bodied blends dominated by Grenache, though up to thirteen grape varieties are permitted.

White versions exist but are far less common.

We opened a Châteauneuf-du-Pape for the anniversary dinner.
