B&O Railroad
Classic board game square
The B&O Railroad—Baltimore and Ohio Railroad—was the first common carrier railroad in the United States, chartered in 1827.
It became one of the major eastern railroads before merging into CSX Transportation in 1987.
The name persists mainly through the Monopoly board game, where it appears as one of four railroad properties.
