29er
High-performance racing sailboat
A 29er is a mountain bike with 29-inch wheels, larger than the traditional 26-inch standard.
The bigger wheels roll over obstacles more easily and maintain momentum better on rough terrain, though they sacrifice some agility.
The term appears in cycling discussions and bike shop conversations: I switched to a 29er and noticed the difference immediately on rocky trails.
