pontoon boat
Floating deck vessel
A pontoon boat is a flat-decked watercraft supported by hollow cylindrical floats called pontoons.
The buoyant tubes keep the platform stable and level, making pontoon boats popular for leisurely lake cruising, fishing, and entertaining.
They sacrifice speed and maneuverability for spaciousness and stability: We rented a pontoon boat and spent the afternoon drifting around the lake.
