2001
After the Y2K scare
2001 refers most often to the year, particularly in phrases like class of 2001 or since 2001.
The number carries strong cultural associations with Stanley Kubrick's film *2001: A Space Odyssey*, which made the year iconic as a marker of the future long before it arrived.
In addresses or model numbers, 2001 functions as any other four-digit identifier.
