working farm
Operational agricultural land
A working farm is one that actively produces agricultural goods—crops, livestock, dairy, or other products—as opposed to land that was once farmed but now lies fallow, or property maintained purely for residence or recreation.
The term often distinguishes functional operations from hobby farms or preserved historical sites: The estate includes a working farm with sixty head of cattle.
