war imagery
Conflict's visual language
War imagery refers to descriptive language, symbols, or visual elements that evoke combat, battle, and military conflict.
In literature and rhetoric, war imagery includes references to weapons, soldiers, bloodshed, sieges, and victories: The politician's speech was full of war imagery—enemies at the gates, battles to be won.
Such imagery often appears in contexts far from actual warfare to dramatize struggles or emphasize high stakes.
