The upper balcony is the highest seating section in a theater or auditorium, typically offering the cheapest tickets and the most distant view of the stage.
In older theaters with multiple tiers, it sits above the dress circle or mezzanine: We got seats in the upper balcony for ten dollars.
Also called the gallery or, informally, the nosebleed section.
