premium seats
Best viewing locations
Premium seats are the best or most desirable seating in a venue—closer to the stage, field, or screen, often with better sightlines and added amenities.
The term appears in theaters, sports arenas, and airlines, always indicating seats that cost more than standard options: We splurged on premium seats for the concert.
The designation is partly marketing—what counts as premium varies by venue.
