untomb
Retrieve from burial
To untomb is to remove from a tomb or place of burial—literally to disinter, or figuratively to bring something long hidden back into the open.
The word is rare and literary, the opposite of entomb: Archaeologists untombed the pharaoh's remains, The scandal untombed secrets the family had buried for generations.
