ulnae

Inner forearm bones

Ulnae is the Latin plural of ulna, the longer of the two bones in the forearm, running from the elbow to the wrist on the side opposite the thumb.

Medical and anatomical texts use ulnae when referring to both forearms or comparing specimens: The ulnae of both patients showed similar fractures.

The anglicized plural ulnas is equally acceptable.
