A tripoint is a place where three borders meet—typically where three countries, states, or other territorial divisions share a single common point.
The term appears in geography and international law: The tripoint of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay sits near Iguazu Falls.
Also called a triple point, though that term more often refers to a phase of matter in physics.
