transfer printing
Indirect pattern application
Transfer printing is a technique for applying designs to surfaces—typically fabric, ceramics, or paper—by first printing the image onto an intermediate material, then transferring it to the final surface through heat, pressure, or moisture.
The method allows detailed, multicolored designs on materials that would be difficult to print directly: She used transfer printing to put the photo on a T-shirt.
