touch up paint
Blemish concealing finish
Touch up paint is paint kept on hand to cover small flaws—scratches, chips, or scuffs—on a previously painted surface.
Cars often come with a small bottle matched to the original color: I used the touch up paint on the door ding.
The term also applies to small quantities used for walls, furniture, or other surfaces needing spot repairs rather than full repainting.
