touch control
Swipe to operate
Touch control is a method of operating devices through physical contact with a surface, typically a screen or panel that responds to finger pressure or proximity.
The term covers everything from smartphone screens to lamp bases that turn on when touched.
Touch controls have largely replaced physical buttons and dials on consumer electronics: The stove has touch controls instead of knobs.
