topsides
Ship's upper surfaces
Topsides refers to the upper parts of a ship's hull, above the waterline.
In nautical use, going topsides means heading up to the main deck from below: The captain called all hands topsides.
The term extends to any upper portion or surface, and in butchery, topside is a lean cut from the upper thigh of beef.
