timebox
Fixed work interval
A timebox is a fixed period allocated for a task, after which work stops regardless of completion.
Common in agile software development and productivity methods, timeboxing prevents tasks from expanding indefinitely: We timeboxed the discussion to fifteen minutes.
The verb means to assign such a constraint: Let's timebox this meeting.
