single-tasking
Focused sequential work
Single-tasking is focusing on one task at a time rather than juggling several simultaneously.
The term emerged as a counterpoint to multitasking, often with the implication that concentrated attention produces better results: I've switched to single-tasking and my work has improved dramatically.
Sometimes used as an adjective: a single-tasking approach to productivity.
