Friction-held curtain support
A tension rod is a spring-loaded pole that wedges between two surfaces—typically walls—to hold itself in place without screws, brackets, or other hardware.
The most familiar use is for hanging lightweight curtains in windows or doorways, though tension rods also appear in closets to create extra hanging space.
I put up a tension rod in the bathroom for a shower curtain.
The appeal is easy installation and removal without damaging walls.
