solo queue

Matchmaking without friends

Solo queue is ranked competitive play in multiplayer video games where you enter matchmaking alone rather than with a premade team.

The system pairs you with random teammates against other players of similar skill.

Solo queue tests individual ability but subjects you to the chaos of uncoordinated strangers: I climbed to Diamond in solo queue, Solo queue is a nightmare—my teammates keep feeding.
