tasering
Zapping into submission
Tasering is the act of using a Taser—a handheld device that fires electrical probes to incapacitate someone through electric shock.
The term comes from the brand name but applies generically to similar stun weapons: The officer was suspended after tasering a handcuffed suspect.
Also spelled tasering or tasing.
