tarmacking
Laying asphalt down
Tarmacking is the process of laying or resurfacing a road, driveway, or other surface with tarmac—a mixture of tar and crushed stone.
In British usage, it often refers to paving work generally: They're tarmacking the car park this week.
The word can also describe the act of moving an aircraft on the tarmac before takeoff or after landing.
