tapings
Shows being filmed
Tapings is the plural of taping, which refers to recording sessions for broadcast media—typically television or radio shows filmed before an audience: We got tickets to two tapings of the late-night show.
The word also covers the act of applying tape, as in athletic contexts: The trainer handled all the ankle tapings before practice.
