buddy taping
Neighbor digit support
Buddy taping is a first-aid technique where an injured finger or toe is taped to an adjacent healthy one, which acts as a splint.
The uninjured digit provides support and limits movement while the injury heals: The trainer buddy-taped his jammed finger and sent him back in the game.
Common for minor fractures and sprains.
