synchronicities

Seemingly connected happenstances

Synchronicities are meaningful coincidences—events that seem connected not by cause and effect but by significance.

The term comes from psychologist Carl Jung, who proposed that some coincidences carry psychological or spiritual meaning beyond chance: The synchronicities kept piling up until she couldn't ignore them.

People invoke synchronicities when patterns feel too purposeful to be random.
