sulfuryl fluoride
Termite treatment chemical
Sulfuryl fluoride is a colorless, odorless gas used as a fumigant to kill insects, termites, and rodents in buildings and stored goods.
It penetrates wood and other materials effectively but is also a potent greenhouse gas that persists in the atmosphere.
The compound replaced methyl bromide after that chemical was phased out for depleting the ozone layer.
