Stigmatism is the condition of having normal vision—eyes that focus light to a single point.
The word exists mainly as the base for astigmatism, the more common term describing the opposite condition where the eye's irregular curvature causes blurred vision.
Stigmatism also refers to the condition of bearing stigmata, the wounds of Christ.
