refractive error
Eye focusing flaw
Refractive error is an optical defect in the eye that prevents light from focusing properly on the retina, causing blurred vision.
The main types are myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), astigmatism, and presbyopia.
Glasses, contact lenses, or surgery correct refractive errors by redirecting how light enters the eye.
