sticker art
Peel-and-place designs
Sticker art is a form of street art using adhesive labels or decals, often slapped on lampposts, mailboxes, and other urban surfaces.
The medium appeals to artists for its speed and portability—a sticker can be designed at home and applied in seconds.
Sticker art ranges from simple hand-drawn tags to elaborate printed designs, and collections accumulate on surfaces where stickers aren't removed: The phone booth was covered in sticker art.
